Spotlight: ReachOut

ReachOut is a national mentoring and education charity rooted in local communities.

Working in under-resourced areas, the projects support young people to grow in character and confidence, sparking change in themselves and society.

Each young person in a ReachOut project is paired with their own volunteer mentor and, each week, through 1:1 mentoring and fun group activities, they grow in character and confidence, sparking change in themselves and society. They run two types of projects – ReachOut Club, which takes place in primary schools with young people aged 9-11, and ReachOut Academy, which takes place in high schools with young people aged 11-16.

The program’s success lies in its personalized approach, matching mentors with mentees based on shared interests and backgrounds. This tailored support system has led to significant improvements in the mentees’ academic performance and career prospects.

If you have success, you, your group, charity or organisation would like to share – we would love to hear from you!
